Melissa Buckley Pridham
Vice President, Head of Personal Banking
Melissa Buckley Pridham brings entrepreneurial energy and frontline insight to her leadership of Clarien’s Personal Banking division, drawing on a career that spans retail, hospitality, and strategic communications.
She joined Clarien in 2015 following consultancy roles in public relations and media management, where she supported brand strategy, national TV placement, and executive coaching for a Canadian retail group. Melissa also led operations and business development as owner of a Halifax-based restaurant, gaining hands-on experience in finance, planning, and people management.
Earlier in her career, she held internship roles with Bermuda-based and international financial institutions. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Dalhousie University and an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from Eastern College in Halifax.
Shakira Smith-Caines
Manager, Personal Banking
Shakira Smith-Caines brings more than 27 years of experience across Bermuda’s banking sector, with a career that spans customer service, credit risk, collections, private banking, and financial services.
She began her banking journey in 1998 and went on to hold key roles at two legacy institutions prior to their merger in 2011, gaining insight into both operational continuity and change. Shakira has worked in client-facing and risk-focused positions across retail and private banking, and now manages a dynamic portfolio of Clarien’s personal banking clients, combining her insight, empathy and a straightforward approach to financial solutions.
Kordell De La Chevotiere
Personal Banker
Kordell De La Chevotiere brings a dynamic background in retail sales, client relations, and team leadership to his role at Clarien, where he partners with clients to provide tailored financial solutions that align with their goals. His approach emphasizes building strong, lasting relationships through strategic planning and proactive service.
Kordell’s career spans over eight years in customer-facing roles, including leadership positions at a major telecommunications provider, where he managed sales teams, developed account strategies, and consistently exceeded performance targets. His ability to foster trust and deliver results has made him a valuable asset in both sales and service environments.
A strong communicator and natural relationship builder, Kordell combines his people-first mindset with a growing foundation in personal finance and banking. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Mount Saint Vincent University and is focused on helping Clarien’s clients navigate life’s financial milestones with confidence.
Lytesia Loving
Personal Banker
Lytesia Loving brings over 15 years of experience supporting executive leadership, managing high-value client relationships, and coordinating complex investment and administrative operations. Now a Personal Banker at Clarien, she works closely with clients to deliver thoughtful, personalized solutions across banking and investment services.
Prior to joining the Personal Banking team, Lytesia spent more than a decade as an Investment Coordinator at Clarien, where she played a key role in client onboarding, due diligence, and supporting executive leadership across multiple departments. Her strong organizational skills, discretion with sensitive information, and ability to manage competing priorities have made her a trusted liaison for both clients and colleagues.
Lytesia began her career in London before returning to Bermuda, where her experience has spanned financial services, executive support, hospitality, and client engagement. She holds diplomas in Business Administration and Secretarial Studies, and continues to leverage her deep operational insight to support Clarien’s commitment to client excellence.
Sarah-Ann Robinson
Junior Personal Banker
Sarah-Ann Robinson brings a strong background in client service and operational support to her role at Clarien, where she works closely with individuals to deliver thoughtful, efficient banking solutions through both in-person and digital channels.
With more than a decade of experience across hospitality, wellness, and financial services, Sarah-Ann has consistently demonstrated a passion for enhancing the client experience. She began her career in front-line customer service roles and rose steadily through positions of increasing responsibility, including her promotion to Assistant Operations Manager at a local optical company.
Sarah-Ann’s approach is shaped by her creative background in graphic design, her community leadership within youth and church programs, and her commitment to personalized client engagement. Her strengths in relationship-building, adaptability, and service excellence have been recognized through multiple promotions and customer commendations.
She holds a diploma in Graphic Design from the London College, UCK, and continues to build her skills in Bermuda’s evolving banking landscape as part of the Clarien team.
