iBank Registration with iSecure (Soft Token) User Guide

WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE YOU START:

  1. Your Customer ID from your Welcome email
  2. Your current iBank Username
  3. Your mobile device to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to the mobile number associated with your account
  4. A desktop computer, laptop or tablet to access the iBank registration portal

Please make sure that we have your most current email address and mobile number on file. To update your contact information, please log in to iBank and send a secure message or call the Client Service Centre at 441.296.6969.

IMPORTANT: Do not share your bank credentials with anyone, including your Customer ID, OTP and Username.

Download the Clarien iSecure app (soft token) from the App Store (iOS)
or Google Play (Android).

Step 1

Download the iSecure app on your mobile device.

Step 2

From your computer, go to the clarienbank.com homepage and click on the iBank Personal button at the top right corner of the page.

Step 3

On the landing page, scroll down and click Register.

Step 4

Enter your Customer ID. Your Customer ID can be found in your Clarien Welcome email. Do not share your Customer ID with anyone.

Step 5

When you click Continue, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the mobile number associated with your account.

Step 6

Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your mobile device. Your OTP will expire in three minutes. Do not share your OTP with anyone.

Step 7

Click Continue.

Step 8

Select Authenticate with iSecure app as your preferred method of security authentication and click Continue.

Step 9

The enrollment QR code will be displayed on your screen. You will need the iSecure app to scan this code.

Step 10

Open the iSecure app on your mobile device.

Step 11

Review the Privacy Policy. Tick the box to accept, then press Submit.

Step 12

Enable iSecure to send you notifications. Select Allow to be able to review authentication requests easily.

Step 13

Press Enroll.

Step 14

Enable iSecure to access your camera. Select Allow to be able to scan the QR code for enrollment.

Step 15

iSecure will open the camera on your device. Hold your device in front of the QR code on your computer screen. Once detected, it will scan automatically.

Step 16

Set up your authentication method by selecting either biometric verification or PIN.

Step 17

If you prefer biometric, iSecure will use the facial ID or fingerprint information already set up on your device. Select Allow.

Step 18

If you choose PIN, enter the PIN that is already set on your device. Re-enter your PIN. Select OK. Do not share your PIN with anyone.

Step 19

Your iSecure security token registration is complete.

Step 20

Return to your computer screen and click Continue.

Step 21

Click Log In to iBank to continue setting up your online banking profile.

Step 22

Enter your current iBank Username then click Continue.

Set your New Password.

Step 24

Accept the Clarien iBank Terms & Conditions by ticking the box. You will not be able to proceed without completing this step.

Step 25

Opt-in or opt-out of receiving Clarien marketing communications, then click Continue.

Step 26

Complete the authentication process using iSecure. On the app, press Check Pending Request and approve using biometric or PIN.

Step 27

Your iBank registration is complete. Click Go to Login Page to continue.

Step 28

Enter your Username and your New Password, then click Login.

Step 29

Complete the authentication process using iSecure.

Step 30

Review the Terms. Select Agree to continue.

Step 31

Your iBank account is all set up! You may now begin managing your accounts and completing transactions.

iSecure (Soft Token) FAQs

No, you can have only one soft token on your phone. For additional profiles, you must use hard tokens or have one soft token per separate phone.
