At Clarien, we help clients feel more confident about their financial future. That starts with our people.
For more than 80 years, Clarien has been part of Bermuda’s banking community, supporting individuals, families and businesses through every stage of life. Today, we continue to invest in the future of banking through technology, new ways of working, and the people who want to grow alongside us.
We are a smaller organisation by global standards, and that matters. People are known here, and ideas are heard. Teams work closely together, and individuals have the opportunity to make a real contribution across the business.
Whether your experience is in banking, investments, technology, operations, finance, client services or wealth management, Clarien offers the chance to build a meaningful career in an environment that values initiative, curiosity and good judgment.
Clarien combines the professionalism of an established financial institution with a supportive, community-minded culture.
We want people to feel challenged by their work, supported by their colleagues, and connected to the organisation’s wider purpose. Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, employees are encouraged to take part in projects, development opportunities and community initiatives across the bank.
We also recognise the importance of balance. Flexible working arrangements, wellbeing programmes, social events and volunteer opportunities all form part of working life at Clarien.
We believe careers develop best when people are given exposure, responsibility and room to grow.
Employees at Clarien have access to professional development opportunities, including sponsored qualifications, conferences, internal learning sessions and development plans. We are proud of our promote-from-within culture and encourage employees to explore opportunities across the business.
From early careers through to experienced professionals, Clarien offers the opportunity to build expertise while contributing to work that has a direct impact on clients and the wider organisation.
Clarien is proud to be part of the Bermuda community.
Our teams support a wide range of local charities, events and initiatives, including PALS Walk, Relay for Life, End-to-End, Iron Kids Triathlon, Bermuda National Trust, Meals on Wheels and Tomorrow’s Voices, among many others. Employees are encouraged to volunteer and participate in community activities both during and outside working hours.
Internally, employee-led groups including our DEI Council and Social & Wellbeing Committees help shape workplace initiatives, and support causes that matter to our people.
We are also continuing to strengthen our approach to responsible and sustainable business practices through our partnership with a UK-based ESG advisory firm.
At Clarien, we are committed to supporting our employees both professionally and personally through a comprehensive rewards and wellbeing program.
Our competitive compensation and benefits package includes exclusive staff banking perks and discounts.
Employees also enjoy wellness and fitness initiatives, flexible work arrangements for eligible roles, recognition programmes, professional development support, and a range of lifestyle benefits – all designed to help our people thrive at work and beyond.
Clarien is one of Bermuda’s four banks and continues to invest heavily in digital banking capabilities, including the transformation of our core, online, and mobile banking platforms.
As the business continues to grow and evolve, we are looking for people who want to be part of that future while helping us continue to deliver the personal service and trusted relationships that clients value.
