Melissa Buckley Pridham is Senior Vice President, Head of Personal and Private Banking at Clarien, leading the Bank’s Personal Banking, Lending and Private Banking teams. She is responsible for delivering a differentiated banking experience across the personal, affluent and private banking segments, working closely with colleagues across Wealth Management to provide integrated solutions that meet clients’ evolving needs.
Since joining Clarien in 2015, Melissa has played a significant role in the growth and evolution of the Bank’s banking business. Appointed to her current role in 2026, she now leads all non-commercial banking activities under a unified leadership structure, supporting the continued development of Clarien’s banking offering and client experience.
Prior to joining Clarien, Melissa worked in public relations and media management, advising clients on brand strategy, executive communications and media engagement. She also owned and operated a hospitality business in Halifax, Canada, where she developed practical experience in business management, financial planning and leading high-performing teams. Earlier in her career, she completed internships with financial institutions in Bermuda and internationally.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Dalhousie University and an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from Eastern College in Halifax.
