36th Clarien Iron Kids Triathlon

Now in its 36th year, the Iron Kids Triathlon is a much loved event that encourages children ages 3 to 15 to challenge themselves, build confidence and experience the joy of achievement in a fun, supportive environment. First held in 1988 at Shelly Bay Beach and now staged at Clearwater Beach in St. David’s, it has become one of Bermuda’s standout youth events, launching future talent including Olympic champion Flora Duffy, Tyler Smith and Erica Hawley. From Tiny Tots ages 3 to 6 racing alongside an adult to the Junior Triathlon ages 7 to 15 with swim, bike and run distances, it inspires young athletes at every stage.

That same spirit continues with the Clarien Iron Kids Bank account, designed to help children take their first steps toward financial independence while building confidence, responsibility and lifelong money habits. Participants have the chance to win up to $1,000 dollars to kick start their savings, and parents can open an account to support goal setting and growth over time, turning race day achievement into a strong foundation for the future.
