Roger Brown

SVP, Head of Commercial Banking

Roger Brown leads Clarien’s Commercial Banking division, working with institutional and corporate clients to deliver tailored lending,  and treasury solutions. 

He is responsible for shaping commercial strategy, strengthening client relationships, and building Clarien’s presence across key sectors of the Bermuda economy. 

Roger began his career in Canada in 2010 and has since held regional leadership roles in business development and credit strategy across North America. He relocated to Bermuda in 2024 to join Clarien and now leads a growing team focused on responsive, relationship-led banking. 

He holds a Master of Finance from the University of Toronto (Rotman School of Management) and a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University (DeGroote School of Business). 

Heather Walker-Boyd

AVP, Commercial Banking

Heather Walker-Boyd supports Clarien’s commercial clients with tailored lending and banking solutions, drawing on more than 20 years of experience across credit, underwriting, business development and client relationship management. 

She has worked across both local and regional markets, including leadership roles in the Caribbean, where she built and led high-performing teams, supported business growth, and helped deliver banking services in fast-paced environments. 

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business, and a Master’s degree from Edinburgh Business School. 

Nicholas Moulder

Relationship Manager

With a diverse background in brand management, logistics and marketing, Nicholas Moulder works with local and international businesses to provide personalized banking solutions that support growth and long-term success. 

Drawing on his experience in both banking and brand management, he offers guidance on lending, deposit management and day-to-day financial needs, with a focus on building strong relationships and helping clients reach their goals.  Nicholas takes a collaborative approach and is committed to understanding each client’s unique priorities.

Nicholas holds a first-class honours degree from the University of Huddersfield and is a past recipient of ABIC and PartnerRe scholarships. 

Paul Brown

Associate Relationship Manager

Paul Brown works with small business clients at Clarien to support their lending, banking and service needs, while also helping to generate new business opportunities across the Commercial Banking team. 

He joined Clarien through the Client Service Centre and progressed into a relationship management role, where he focuses on building long-term client partnerships and delivering responsive support. 

Paul is a past recipient of Clarien’s CEO Award, presented to employees who go above and beyond in their day-to-day contribution to the Bank’s culture and client experience. 

Florence Smith

VP, Head of Payments

Florence Smith leads Clarien’s payments strategy across debit and credit cards, merchant acquiring, eCommerce and ATM services, with a focus on product development, performance and revenue growth. 

She works closely with senior leaders across the Bank to shape Clarien’s digital infrastructure and deliver seamless, secure client experiences. Before joining Clarien, Florence held leadership roles in banking and e-commerce, including regional responsibility for payments across Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. 

She was among the first professionals globally to earn the Certified Payments Professional designation from the Electronic Transactions Association. Florence also served on the Business Technology Division of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce and holds diplomas in hotel management from Bermuda College and the American Hotel and Motel Association.
