C. H. (Hal) Masters - Director
Hal Masters is an experienced adviser and director in the financial and corporate services industry, with a career spanning senior banking leadership, international fund administration and board-level governance.
He is President and Director of Midsea Consulting Limited, which he founded in 2002, and currently provides independent consulting services to financial institutions and corporate entities. He also serves as a director for various investment funds and acts as trustee for several private trusts.
Hal began his career in 1984 as a financial analyst at a Bermuda-based bank, later becoming Senior Manager of Corporate Credit and relocating to the Bank’s London branch to lead its Banking Division. Upon returning to Bermuda in 1999, he served as Vice President and Managing Director of the Bank’s fund services subsidiary, continuing in a consultancy role until its acquisition.
He holds a BA from Williams College, an MBA (Finance) from Babson College, and completed the Western Executive Program at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. He was elected to the Royal Chartered Institute of Directors in 2003.
