10 THINGS TO DO TO PREPARE FOR THE NEW CLARIEN iBANK EXPERIENCE

 1. Take note of the Systems Upgrade Schedule

iBank will be unavailable starting November 8, 2024 (Friday) at 5 PM until November 11, 2024 (Monday). During this period, our iATMs and digital portals (Digital Account Opening and Digital Account Maintenance) will also be temporarily unavailable.  Please plan your transactions accordingly.

The NEW iBank will launch in the morning of November 12, 2024 (Tuesday).

 2. Update Your Contact Information

Please make sure that we have your most current email address and mobile number on file.
• A Welcome Email will be sent to your email we have on file with more information on the NEW iBank, plus instructions on how to register and create your new profile.
• A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent either to the mobile number (for Personal accounts) or to the email address (for Commercial accounts) on file for verification.

IMPORTANT: If your contact information has changed, please log in to your iBank account and send a secure message today or call the Client Service Centre at 441.296.6969.

 3. Check your iBank Secure Messages

We will be sending important information via iBank Secure Message. Remember to log in to your iBank account and to check your inbox regularly.

 4. Keep a Record of Your Bank Credentials

As part of the registration process, you will also need the following information:
• Personal Banking: Current iBank Username and Customer ID
• Commercial Banking: User ID (your User ID is a 10-digit number that includes your CIF number plus Username)

To find out your Customer ID or User ID, follow these simple steps:
– Log in to your iBank account
– Check your secure messages inbox for the notification
– Print or record your Customer ID or User ID in a safe place and do not share it with anyone

 5. Get a NEW Clarien Security Token

The Clarien iSecure (soft token app) is needed to access the NEW iBank platform. This new mobile app is the recommended authentication method for its ease-of-use and convenience. Before you begin the registration process, download iSecure from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

The Clarien Security Key (USB hard token device) is also available for those who require a hard token option. To request for a Security Key, please fill up the form here. Make sure to have this on-hand to set up your new account profile.

IMPORTANT: If your company manages multiple entities and/or is a multi-user company, you will require a Security Key (USB hard token). Also, if you hold both corporate and personal accounts with Clarien, you will need iSecure for your personal account/s and a Security Key (USB hard token) for your corporate account/s, or vice versa.

 6. Register for the NEW iBank

Everyone is required to register again to access the NEW iBank platform. Your current login details and hard or soft token will not allow you to access the new online and mobile banking systems.

Detailed user guides and customer support will be available to help you with the registration process.

IMPORTANT: For Commercial Clients, make sure to validate your workflow. Your administrator should review and validate your workflows to ensure they are correct. If you have questions or need assistance with setting up or updating workflows, please contact the Commercial Banking team.

 7. Always Protect Your Data

As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding your personal and financial information, we would like to remind you about the importance of being vigilant against phishing attempts. Phishing is a fraudulent practice where individuals attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details by disguising as a trustworthy entity.

Remember, your security is our top priority, and we are committed to working together with you to ensure the protection of your personal and financial information.

 8. Keep your Devices and Software Updated

Regularly update your devices, including computers and smartphones, with the latest security patches and software updates to protect against vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers.

For Apple users, make sure your devices are updated with the latest versions of iOS, Safari and Chrome.

 9. Watch Out for Our Welcome Email

On Friday, November 8th, you will receive another email from us with more information on the NEW iBank, plus instructions on how to register and create your new profile.
