Rebecca Pitman

Chief of Staff

As Clarien’s Chief of Staff, Rebecca is responsible for enabling the CEO to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders. She oversees Human Resources, Marketing, Communications and Strategy and acts as a point of contact between top management and employees or other stakeholders and provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance.

Rebecca joined Clarien in September of 2010 as SVP, Head of Human Resources, before transitioning to the EVP, Chief of Staff role in 2016. Prior to joining Clarien, she served with a Big 4 accounting firm from 2004 to 2010, and led the Human Resources function for the Bahamas, Bermuda and Cayman Islands. Her duties included ensuring successful implementation of key people processes in line with business strategies.

Previously, she held multiple roles with a big 4 consulting company in Learning and Knowledge Management. Bermudian-born, Rebecca was the recipient of Rhodes, Fessenden-Trott and United World College scholarships, and earned her Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI/ICADE in Madrid, Spain. She holds an MPhil in Sociology from Oxford University, and a BA (Honours) in Political Science and Sociology from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. She also studied Psychology at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
