Dennis Cohen – Director

Dennis Cohen is the Group Chief Financial Officer & Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NCB Financial Group Limited.  He is responsible for the Group’s financial planning and reporting, monitoring the performance of the Group against strategy and budget, and overseeing the Group’s Transformation Office and Investor Relations function. He also has responsibility for the Group’s Insurance (both general and life) and Wealth Management Business segments.

Dennis has served in other integral roles within the NCB Group; he was the former CEO of NCB Capital Markets Limited, where he had responsibility for the day to day management of the Group’s securities dealership and stock brokerage business. Before joining the NCB Group, he was employed at Citibank and served in various capacities including Country Treasurer and Head of the Relationship Management Unit. Prior to commencing his distinguished career in banking, he was Senior Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Advantage General Insurance Company Limited (AGIC) and Mutual Security Insurance Brokers Limited; and also serves as Director of: NCB Financial Group Limited; National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited; NCB Capital Markets Limited; NCB Insurance Company Limited; NCB (Cayman) Limited; West Indies Trust Company Limited;  NCB Capital Markets (Cayman) Limited; Guardian Holdings Limited and Guardian Asset Management Limited.

Dennis is a Fellow of the ICAJ and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).  He is a member of the Council of the ICAJ and serves as a member of the Institute’s newly formed Professional Accountants in Business Committee. He also currently serves as Chairman of the ICAJ’s 2016 Business Conference Planning Committee.
